Parish Life MINISTRY

Catholic Daughters of the Americas

C.D.A. has almost 70,000 members across the U.S.  They belong to individual courts organized by parish.  Members work to develop spiritual and social opportunities for woman and they work for the good of the parish and local community. The purpose of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas is to participate in the religious, charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. The members engage in creative and spiritual programs which provide an opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world. St. Mark is the only parish in Kentucky with a Catholic Daughters’ Court.

In recent months, C.D.A. has organized celebration receptions for sacramental events, fed Habitat For Humanity volunteers, provided food for the school fish fry fundraiser and men’s retreat and organized Vacation Bible School.

Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the RCIA room.
