Reconciliation

Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion. (CCC 1422).

First reconciliation

Sacrament preparation is offered though our parish school and our C.C.D. program. Children in our parish make their First Reconciliation as second-graders, if all requirements are met.  Public school students attend weekly classes. Second grade Parochial school students receive their religious instruction and sacrament preparation during the regular school day and join us throughout the year for specified retreats, rehearsals, and celebrations. These activities provide a great opportunity to get to know others who will also celebrate these sacraments at our parish. Preparation for First Reconciliation includes instruction on forgiveness and reconciliation.

The classes are offered through our C.C.D. program.
